Amanda M. Zelisko

Amanda Zelisko is a dedicated legal professional with a strong educational foundation and a passion for justice. She began her academic journey at Sam Houston State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors in law. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Amanda continued her education at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. Here, she honed her legal skills and developed a deep understanding of the complexities of the legal system, preparing her for a career that would span both prosecution and defense.

Upon graduating from law school, Amanda took on a pivotal role as an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney's Office. Over the course of eight years, she demonstrated her commitment to public service and legal excellence, working her way up to the position of Felony District Court Chief. During her tenure, Amanda focused heavily on juvenile law, advocating for young individuals within the legal system. Her experience in this area not only showcased her legal acumen but also highlighted her dedication to ensuring that vulnerable populations received fair treatment under the law.

Eventually, Amanda made the decision to transition from prosecution to defense, motivated by a desire to serve her community in a new capacity. This shift allowed her to apply her extensive knowledge of the legal system from a different perspective, representing clients who needed support and guidance.
